BTS Jimin's first regular album title song 'Like Crazy' has been ranked on the US Billboard's 'Hot 100' for two weeks in a row.
According to the agency Big Hit Music and Billboard, this song ranked 45th on the 15th of Billboard's main single chart Hot 100 on the 11th (local time). It was on the chart for two weeks in a row, following the one-of-a-kind record among domestic solo singers by climbing to No. 1 the previous week.
The album ‘FACE’, which contains the song, also ranked 2nd last week and 16th this week on the Billboard main album chart ‘Billboard 200’. It also ranked 1st in ‘World Album’, 4th in ‘Top Album Sales’ and ‘Top Current Album’ respectively.
Big Hit Music reported that other BTS members who previously released solo albums are also continuing to perform well on the Billboard charts. RM's first solo album, 'Indigo', released in December of last year, ranked 56th on the 'Top Current Album' list. In addition, Suga's "Agust D" and Jin's "The Astronaut" ranked ninth in the "World Digital Song Sales" rankings.
Meanwhile, K-pop girl group Fifty Fifty’s “Cupid” rose on the Billboard chart for three weeks in a row. After first entering the 100th place, it rose once to 94th, and this week it ranked 85th.
Cupid is a song that was released in Korean and English versions last February, and its charm is its easy-to-listen melody and cute lyrics with a girly sensibility. Fifty Fifty belongs to a small entertainment company Attract, not to a large domestic agency such as Hive or JYP. In addition, after debuting in November of last year, they entered the Billboard charts in about 4 months, and there is a saying that it is a 'miracle of small and medium'.
